Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an experienced COORDINATOR-PERIOPERATIVE RN at Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The role coordinates and manages perioperative services, interfaces with physicians, and ensures patient care planning from admission to discharge.

The RN applies nursing principles within age-specific needs and supports educational activities for staff. Incumbents may spend up to 50% of time on in‑service/orientation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required; active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; 2 years perioperative preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; regulatory compliance expected.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and coordinate care from perioperative admission to discharge.
• Coordinate resources and ensure supplies/equipment for surgery are ready.
• Support staff orientation and ongoing education for the unit.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and care teams.
