Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care across the lifespan in Sitka, Alaska.

The RN collaborates with the surgical and interdisciplinary teams, delivers culturally sensitive, patient‑centered care, and adheres to Alaska Board of Nursing standards. An on‑call perioperative role is included to support urgent cases and ensure safe patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing and Alaska RN licensure.
• Current, unrestricted Alaska RN license.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and other area-specific credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Deliver medications and treatments per orders and policy.
• Educate patients and families about care, medications, and discharge needs.
• Recognize condition changes and escalate to providers as needed.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EHR and ensure safety.
