The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS certifications (or availability to obtain within 6 months), with preferred perioperative experience and CNOR credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registered nurse licensure in state of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or within 6 months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: perioperative experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree, CNOR certification.
• Preferred: basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word).

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative services.
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Assess patients at intervals as stated in policies and procedures.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Implement the plan of care and protect the patient from injury and wrong-site surgery.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
