Job summary

Spring View Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the 10-bed perioperative unit as an OR Circulator. The role involves admission assessments, medication and lab monitoring, and coordinating discharge needs across surgical service areas including outpatient, circulating, scrubbing, PACU, and Phase II recovery.

The RN will provide professional nursing care, documentation, and collaboration with the medical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required
• 1–2 years clinical experience strongly preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required within specified timelines
• Current RN license in Kentucky

Responsibilities

• Performs admission assessment and reassessments within SOC time frames.
• Documents accurately in the patient’s medical record.
• Monitors response to medication and labs.
• Coordinates discharge needs and home health requirements if indicated.
• Notifies physician and care team of any changes in condition.
• Work across OR, Circulate, Scrub, PACU and Phase II areas.
