Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center in Macon, Georgia is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator to join our Main Operating Room team in a fast-paced, high-acuity perioperative environment.

As part of a nationally verified Level I Trauma Center, the RN Circulator collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care throughout the perioperative experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Board of Nursing approved program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s).
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in perioperative nursing activities across the OR team.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care throughout perioperative phase.
• Maintain safety and adherence to ANA ethics and professional standards.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and care teams.
• Document accurately in the EHR and participate in quality initiatives.
