Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Northwest is seeking a Registered Nurse to function as part of the health care team in delivering high-quality patient care in Oregon. The RN utilizes the nursing process, leads with professional competencies and collaborates with the Team Leader and Manager to ensure safe, effective care.

Responsibilities include population-based care activities, data-informed decision making and mentoring of staff, with emphasis on HIPAA compliance and culturally sensitive teaching.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five (5) years.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience circulating in an inpatient or ambulatory surgery operating room in the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, clinically competent nursing care in a culturally sensitive manner.
• Plan, implement, manage and evaluate a plan of care across the care continuum.
• Coordinate care with health care team and participate in population-based activities.
