Job summary

Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston is hiring an Operating Room Nurse (RN) for full-time 36 hours/week. The role includes both Circulating and Scrub responsibilities with a rotating schedule of 7am–7:30pm and 8:30pm shifts, supporting perioperative patient care and collaborating with surgeons and anesthesia providers.

The RN will ensure safety, documentation, and adherence to sterile technique while maintaining high-quality perioperative care across cases.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where practicing.
• Nursing degree as listed; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Circulating nurse duties including preop assessment, scheduling, equipment readiness, infection prevention, counts, and documentation.
• Scrub nurse duties including sterile field setup, instrument handling, counts, specimen labeling, and aseptic technique.
