Charleston ENT & Allergy is seeking a Perioperative RN/O.R. Circulator for our Bluffton, SC surgery center. You will advocate for patients, monitor safety before, during, and after surgery, and help the team maintain sterile conditions throughout procedures.

The role requires a BSN and SC nursing license with 2–3 years of RN experience and at least 1 year in the OR (circulating and scrub preferred). Strong teamwork, communication, and stamina are essential.

Qualifikationen

• RN experience in perioperative or operating room settings.
• BSN degree and SC nursing license required.
• At least 2–3 years as an RN with at least 1 year in the OR (circulating and scrub preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Strong patient-safety focus and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills and teamwork are essential.

Aufgaben

• Assess patients before surgery and address anxieties.
• Gather supplies needed for the operation.
• Keep the operating room sterile and ready for procedures.
• Position and prepare patient on the operating table.
• Pass instruments to the surgeon during surgery.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Evaluate patient status in postoperative phases.
• Maintain adherence to safety standards and precautions.
• Take on duties inside or outside the sterile field as assigned.
