Job summary

Saint Joseph Mount Sterling is seeking a Resource RN to provide diverse professional nursing services and coordinate comprehensive patient care.

You will engage daily in direct patient care, assess needs, and work with the care team to implement care plans. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, education for patients and families, and responsible resource management within a perioperative context.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; RN licensure to practice in KY.
• Registered Nurse: KY license at hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification at hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide diverse professional nursing services and patient care.
• Collaboratively develop, implement, and assess patient care plans.
• Engage in direct patient care daily using critical thinking to plan, coordinate, and delegate tasks.
• Educate patients, families, and staff; implement interventions for optimal outcomes.
• Direct care and oversight of resources, including perioperative care for surgical patients.
• Conduct assessments, document observations and treatments, and integrate into care plans.
