Job summary

Saint Joseph Mount Sterling is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports patient recovery and well-being. You will perform assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective treatment.

You will demonstrate critical thinking, prioritize patient autonomy and comfort, administer medications and therapies, and participate in discharge planning to promote positive outcomes in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse licensed in KY at hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification at hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and analyzes patient conditions; determines need for standard, urgent, or emergent interventions.
• Implements and modifies plan of care; coordinates nursing care and discharge planning.
• Delivers care with respect for patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments per policies.
• Evaluates progress toward desired patient outcomes.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
