UVA Health is seeking a nursing leader to drive quality improvement across Outpatient Surgical Sites. The role involves developing, coordinating, and analyzing clinical initiatives to improve patient outcomes and experiences, while acting as a role model for safety across the Medical Center.

The position requires a BSN (MSN preferred), Virginia nursing licensure, and 3–5 years of perioperative nursing with progressive leadership in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required; MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages quality improvement initiatives across Outpatient Surgical Sites.
• Provides project management/leadership to meet Quality and Performance Improvement goals and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrates clinical expertise in patient populations related to projects.
• Collects, verifies, and analyzes data for projects.
• Provides leadership and training to project team members.
• Communicates effectively with all levels of personnel.
• Willing to travel between locations as part of regular working day.
