Job summary
UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Clinical Nurse Leader to drive quality, safety, and patient experience across ambulatory dialysis clinics. This dedicated CNL role focuses on systems improvement, evidence-based practice, and regulatory readiness rather than bedside care.
Reporting to nursing leadership and partnering with multidisciplinary teams, you will lead quality initiatives, analyze outcomes, and shape care delivery with autonomy and accountability.
Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing is required.
- 2 years of RN experience in a relevant practice area.
- VA nursing license and CNL certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality improvement initiatives from concept through implementation and outcome measurement.
- Evaluate clinical practices, standards, and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support regulatory, accreditation, and compliance initiatives across ambulatory clinics.
- Promote and implement evidence-based practice that strengthens care quality and consistency.
- Observe workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and patient experience.
