Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside in Columbus, GA is seeking a Procedure Support Tech I to assist in perioperative areas under the supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse. You will inventory, disassemble, clean, reassemble, and maintain operating room equipment and help prepare patients for procedures.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient and non-patient functions under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse.
• Inventory, disassemble, clean, reassemble, and maintain operating room equipment.
• Position patients and assist with patient preparation for procedures.
• Assist with case cart preparation as needed.
• Transport patients as required and maintain a clean, sanitary procedural environment.
• Work as an integral member of the operating room team to ensure a safe, respectful patient care environment.

Education

H.S. Diploma or GED

BCLS - Basic Life Support AHS BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
