Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Procedure Support Tech I to assist the operating room team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role supports a range of self-directed tasks that help maintain efficient perioperative services.

Responsibilities include equipment upkeep, patient preparation, and safe patient transport, contributing to a clean, professional care environment. High school diploma and BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• AHS BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs self-directed support activities in the perioperative area under RN direction.
• Inventorying, disassembling, cleaning, reassembling and maintaining operating room equipment.
• Positioning patients and preparing them for procedures; assists with case cart preparation as needed.
• Keeps a clean, sanitary, orderly procedural environment and transports patients as required.
