Cooper Norcross Health in Camden seeks a Patient Care Technician to support OR operations in a high-volume surgical environment. Responsibilities include room turnover, gathering equipment, and preparing rooms for the next case. The role also involves transporting specimens and assisting with lab coordination.

The PCT will be on their feet throughout the shift. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or Equivalent and current NJ-BLS certification.

Formación

• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Visual and auditory acuity for information retrieval and monitor use.

Responsabilidades

• Room turnover: cleaning OR areas, prepping the OR table, and mopping as needed.
• Gathering equipment, supplies, and instrumentation for surgical cases.
• Changing OR tables when necessary.
• Room setup for the next case, including bed prep and equipment positioning.
• Taking specimens to the lab.
• Taking returns to CSP and organizing returns from the OR upstairs.
