Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston, MA is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our Magnet-recognized, Harvard-affiliated perioperative team. This role offers 36 hours per week with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts and call requirements on weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years OR experience, completion of Periop 101, a MA RN license (or eligibility), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• 1-3 Years Related Work Experience Required.
• Current MA RN license (or eligibility) and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes nursing judgments.
• Coordinates care and directs assistive personnel to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and health professionals.
• Maintains mandatory education and participates in professional development.
