Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for the Trauma OR. The role offers 36 hours per week across 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts with call requirements including off-shifts, weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate has 1 year OR RN experience, MA RN license, BLS, and Periop 101 completion; a BSN is preferred. BIDMC is magnet-designated and Harvard-affiliated, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
• RN license current in MA requirement.
• BSN degree strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and assessments for surgical patients.
• Coordinate care and supervise assistive personnel.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement.
