Job summary

UCHealth Highlands Ranch is seeking a Registered Nurse for perioperative services. Direct care in Perioperative, PACU or OR, using the nursing process to ensure high-quality patient care. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, precepting new staff, and contributing to evidence-based practice are key parts of the role.

The position is full-time, onsite with no hybrid option. Requires RN license, BLS/CPR, and 6 months OR experience or UCHealth Fellowship; BSN and CNOR are preferred

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with state RN licensure.
• BLS/CPR certification required; CNOR preferred.
• 6 months of OR nursing experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR card valid through start date and through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Perioperative, PACU, or Operating Room settings.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver quality patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Precept and mentor new staff; contribute to evidence-based practice.
• Support safety and quality of care at the point of care.
