Job summary

Mercy Health's The Jewish Hospital is seeking an Operating Room RN to provide exceptional perioperative care. You will assess patient status, lead the surgical team, and coordinate pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing actions to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree and an active RN license. ACLS/PALS are preferred; CNOR and perioperative certifications are a plus. Mercy Health offers strong benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state nursing license as RN.
• ACLS/PALS preferred at hire, must obtain if required.
• CNOR or other perioperative certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment within the OR.
• Observe the surgery and assist to maintain a safe environment for the patient.
• Manage nursing care within the OR and coordinate with the surgical team.
