Qualifications

• RN license in Massachusetts required.
• CNOR certification within 2 years of appointment.
• BLS required; ACLS strongly suggested and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status across perioperative services.
• Plan, supervise and evaluate patient care in surgical specialty.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, OR staff and vendors for safe interventions.
• Educate patients and families; participate in performance improvement activities.
• Mentor new OR RNs within specialty and review equipment and implants as needed.
