Job summary

Wyandot Memorial Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technician or RN to join our Surgery Department on a full-time basis. The position is 80 hours every two weeks with daytime hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and on-call coverage for weekends and holidays.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited surgical technology program or hold an Ohio RN license, with BLS certification. Strong teamwork, initiative, and a calm, professional approach to patient care are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited surgical technology program or equivalent.
• Active Ohio RN license required for RN candidates.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative patient care within the Surgery Department.
• Perform all duties of a surgical scrub technician, including maintaining a sterile field, handling specimens properly, and assisting practitioners during procedures.
• Maintain proficiency in central supply and sterilization procedures and techniques.
• Assist in managing and maintaining surgical supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.
