Job summary

Surgi-Center of Central VA seeks an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team. The OR RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in the operating room, adhering to nursing standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current VA RN license.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Recent OR or perioperative nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate perioperative care.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, families and other staff.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and sterile field maintenance.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and committees as assigned.
