Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Material Service Partner to support OR case supply needs across Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and affiliated facilities. This role involves picking instrument sets and surgical supplies, stocking storage areas, and moving case carts.

Shifts are nights, 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week), Thursday-Sunday, 10pm-6am with weekend rotation. Requires a High School diploma or GED; 0–1 years in supply chain in a high-volume setting preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 years of experience, or supply chain experience in a high-volume institution.

Responsibilities

• Pick instrument sets and surgical supplies for OR procedures.
• Receive supply shipments, stock supplies in storage area and return supplies to storage area.
• Transport soiled and clean case carts within the ISC.
• Displays adequate communication skills with IP Staff, supervisors and others.
• Demonstrates courtesy and respect for employees to fulfill service mission.
• Modifies behavior or work schedule when necessary to achieve department goals.
• Proactively shares information and trends.
• Exhibits an openness to change and promotes it in others.
