Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Perioperative Float RN to join our operating suite teams.

Schedule: per diem with variable start times (6a, 7a, 8a, 9a or 10a) and major holiday call rotation; onsite at 1133 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA. You will gain exposure to Pre-Operative, PACU, and CPE patients, provide education about the plan of care, and participate in a Magnet-designated environment that values high-quality patient care and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PACU experience strongly preferred.
• Preoperative holding and evaluation experience preferred.
• ASPAN membership and CPAN/CPAP certification preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative patient education and care.
• Assist in preoperative holding, PACU, and recovery care.
