Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool, providing direct patient care in outpatient settings across the Pioneer Valley. You will pick up shifts Monday through Friday with flexibility based on availability and practice needs.

Responsibilities include assessing and treating patients, collaborating with clinicians, administering medications and IV therapy, educating patients, and maintaining EMR documentation while upholding infection control and safety

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• No substitution of experience for the degree.
• RN license in state required; BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and uphold nursing standards.
• Assess patients, plan care, and assist in outpatient procedures.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for comprehensive care.
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain records.
• Follow infection control to keep patients and staff safe.
