Job summary

The Clinical Director oversees daily operations at The Cooper Surgery Center at Moorestown, which includes six operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and an interventional radiology suite. In partnership with departmental leaders, this role supports Pre-Op, PACU, PAT, Central Sterile Processing, Education, and the Business Office.

Responsibilities include recruitment, retention, staff development, regulatory compliance, fiscal management, and ensuring safe, high-quality outpatient surgical care.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a Perioperative Leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Current NJ RN licensure and BLS certification required.
• Specialty certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates daily operations with 24/7 accountability to ensure continuity of care.
• Directs quality initiatives to meet organizational goals and ensure safe patient care.
• Manages the departmental budget for cost-effective care.
• Fosters a healthy work environment and staff development.
• Oversees ongoing education and ensures clinical competency of nursing staff.
• Leads interviewing and onboarding of clinical staff.
• Coordinates with the AVP of Surgical Services on departmental needs.
• Maintains patient data and medical records confidentiality.
