Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of experience in a Perioperative Leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Current NJ RN licensure and BLS certification required.
• Specialty certifications are preferred.

Short Description

The Clinical Director oversees daily operations at The Cooper Surgery Center at Moorestown, which includes six operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and an interventional radiology suite. In partnership with departmental leaders, this role supports Pre-Op, PACU, PAT, Central Sterile Processing, Education, and the Business Office. Responsibilities include recruitment, retention, staff development, regulatory compliance, fiscal management, and ensuring safe, high-quality outpatient surgical care.

• Directs and coordinates effective operations of the unit/department with 24/7 responsibility to ensure continuity of care and oversight of other management functions.
• Directs and coordinates quality efforts of the unit/department to align with organizational goals. Ensures delivery of quality patient care and interdepartmental collaboration of best practices
• Responsible for overseeing the departmental budget to ensure financial accountability for cost effective/efficient provision of care
• Responsible for supporting a healthy work environment which engages staff and supports professional growth and development
• Facilitates ongoing education and ensures clinical competency of nursing personnel adherence to nursing policies
• Responsible for interviewing and onboarding clinical staff
• Responsible for coordinating with the AVP of Surgical Services the clinical departmental needs according to administrative and patient care guidelines
• Ensures patient data and medical records are maintained in confidential manner

Overview

The Cooper Surgery Center at Moorestown is a modern outpatient facility with six operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and an interventional radiology suite. Patients receive seamless care from pre-operative assessment through recovery, supported by a skilled surgical team and advanced technology. Specialties include general, orthopedic, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, vascular, and other minimally invasive procedures designed for faster recovery and greater comfort. Care goals are designed to reduce pain, limit complications, and help patients return to normal activity sooner.

Experience Required

• 3-5 years of experience in a Perioperative Leadership role required
• OR experience preferred

Education Requirements

• Bachelors required; Masters preferred

License/Certification Requirements

• Required: Current licensure as a RN in the state of New Jersey
• Required: BLS
• Preferred: Certification within specialty area (CCRN, CMSRN, CNOR, CEN, PCCN, CNML,NE-BC…)
