Job summary

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Surgery Circulator RN to deliver perioperative care and coordinate with surgeons and the OR team. The role involves ensuring patient safety and efficient flow in the operating room, with opportunities to advance through certification and experience.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and preferably PALS; CNOR and BSN are assets.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on the job training preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Coordinate care with surgical team, surgeon, and anesthesiologist.
• Guide OR technicians and other personnel while maintaining standards.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and department meetings.
