Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Coshocton Regional Medical Center is seeking a Surgery Circulator Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift. The RN will deliver peri-operative patient care, coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia, and lead OR staff in a 56-bed, not-for-profit hospital serving East Central Ohio.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and perioperative experience; CNOR and BSN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification required on hire and current.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required within 30 days of hire and current.
• PALS (AHA) certification required within 30 days of hire and current.
• Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training.
• CNOR Certification (AORN) preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting through the nursing process.
• Coordinates the care of the patient with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Directs and guides the OR Technician and other personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
• Works with other departments to provide a continuum of care and unit maintenance.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings and in-services.
