Job summary

Coshocton Regional Medical Center in Coshocton, OH is seeking a Surgery Circulator Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in the operating room.

You will coordinate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, guide OR staff, and participate in performance improvement activities to maintain high standards of care and patient safety. Excellent teamwork and bedside manner are essential.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training.
• Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting.
• Coordinate the care of the patient with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Direct and guide the OR Technician and other personnel while maintaining nursing standards.
• Work with other departments to provide a continuum of care and maintain unit efficiency.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings and in-services.
