Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Partners seeks an experienced RN for Banner Surgery Center – Desert, located on the Banner Desert Medical Center campus in Mesa. The role focuses on delivering high-quality OR nursing care, with emphasis on assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient needs.

Candidates must hold an active RN license, be BLS and ACLS certified, with PALS within 90 days if pediatrics is involved, and have at least one year of OR experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice (or compact license)
• BLS and ACLS required
• PALS certification within 90 days if assigned ASC pediatrics
• Minimum one year licensed RN OR experience in OR or related areas with approval

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and discharge planning in collaboration with the care team
• Formulate and revise plan of care with realistic, measurable goals
• Implement care per physician orders and nursing plan of care
• Coordinate and supervise care activities and ensure clear communication to team
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Participate in leadership and education of staff and facility personnel
