Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a disciplined Charge Auditor in the Perioperative Services Administration to support daily revenue capture. Responsibilities include reconciling records with the surgery schedule, calculating charges from paper records, and entering data into EPIC/OpTime and Patcom systems.

Teamwork with auditors and departments ensures compliance and accurate billing. Prior billing experience in healthcare is preferred, with strong attention to detail and process adherence.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 4 years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient records to surgery schedule.
• Calculate charges from hardcopy acuity records; follow procedure acuity protocol.
• Enter data into the EPIC/OpTime system and Patcom charge/billing system.
• Audit hospital billing records vs perioperative services records to ensure revenue compliance.
