Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated Charge Auditor for the Perioperative Services group. The role focuses on compiling and entering data in EPIC/OpTime and Patcom, verifying charges, and ensuring accurate revenue capture in the perioperative environment.

You will work with CDM codes, audit daily reports, and collaborate with auditors and internal departments to resolve charge discrepancies while maintaining paper records and supporting compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 4 years of experience in a related role.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient records with surgery schedules.
• Verify charge codes and calculate charges from acuity records.
• Enter charges into EPIC/OpTime and Patcom systems.
• Audit billing against perioperative records to ensure revenue compliance.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate with departments for corrections.
