Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Perioperative Care Technician to support the Perioperative Services team across Pre Op, PACU, OR, and Endoscopy. You will help ensure clean, stocked, and functional equipment and assist clinical staff preparing ORs for procedures.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, managing specimens, handling blood products, turning over rooms, and reporting unsafe equipment to maintain

Qualifications

• Two (2) year of recent general medical experience.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, organized, and well stocked equipment and supply areas.
• Ensure proper functionality of perioperative equipment.
• Assist clinical staff in preparing operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Manage portable gas tanks and replace empty tanks.
• Transport patients and assist with OR turnover.
• Support clinical teams across Pre Op, PACU, OR, and Endoscopy.
• Report or remove unsafe or malfunctioning equipment.

Education

Two (2) year of recent general medical experience
