Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks an OR Nurse Manager to oversee the Operating Room including GOR, COR, RIAO OR, and ASC. Manage 3 assistant nurse managers and up to 120 FTEs in Perioperative Services, ensuring safe, age-appropriate patient care during hours of operation.

Lead clinical management, resource planning, performance improvement, and staff development; require BSN, MD RN license, BLS, and national certs. Competitive compensation and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a CCNE accredited School of Nursing. A master's degree (MSN, MS, MA, MHA or MBA) is preferred.
• 3-5 years progressive nursing experience in the OR with preference for supervisory responsibilities.
• Maryland Registered Nurse License (RN)
• American Heart Association BLS Certification
• National Certification required

Responsibilities

• Clinical Management: Direct unit operations and outcomes; maintain basic nursing skills; set strategic plans for unit outcomes and customer service goals.
• Leadership/Resource Management: Ensure resource utilization and skill mix; evaluate staff with objective performance criteria.
• Performance Improvement: Establish and maintain processes to evaluate delivery of care; design and implement improvement plans.
• Fiscal Management: Manage operations/capital budget; analyze variances and take corrective action.
• Compliance: Ensure staff safety, policy adherence and regulatory requirements; communicate expectations for learning and standards.
