Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship is seeking staff to assist in the individualized care of patients under the perioperative leader. You will work with a team to perform designated clinical procedures and support tasks essential to patient care.

Requirements include a high school diploma, and BLS certification; CNA may be required depending on location. The role emphasizes safety, infection prevention, and adherence to policy within Mercy facilities.

• Experience: None required.
• Licensure: None required.
• Certifications: BLS required or may obtain within 90 days of hire. CNA may be required per location of employment.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the perioperative leader, assists in the individualized care of the patient to achieve the patient’s highest level of wellness.
• Works cooperatively with others as part of a team; recognizes the importance of group goals.
• Performs designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to providing care to the patient.
• Follows Mercy policy and procedures related to safety, confidentiality, and patient rights/regulations.
• Participates in Quality Improvement activities that ensure and enhance quality of patient care.
