Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship in St. Louis, MO seeks a registered nurse to assist in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating operations and patient care in designated areas.

The role acts as a clinical resource for staff and patients and may function as a staff nurse as needed, with managerial duties as delegated by a manager. Must hold an RN license with current permit in the state; two to three years of patient care experience is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Licensure: Must have a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience: Two or three years' experience required in patient care.
• Preferred Licensure: CRRN
• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Preferred Experience: Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
• Preferred Other: Rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy mission and standards.
