Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely from rooms to various areas of the hospital.
• Verify patient identification band, chart and sending slip.
• Assist patients to and from the stretcher.
• Support the supply needs by receiving supplies and restocking areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the surgical suite and operate rooms after procedures.
• Return equipment to storage and keep rooms orderly.
