Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV is seeking a Staff RN-Cardiovascular to deliver perioperative patient care in both the Main OR and Cardiovascular OR. You will coordinate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, guide OR staff, and uphold high nursing standards to ensure safe, efficient care across all perioperative phases.

The role requires a Nevada RN license, BLS and ACLS, plus 1 year of perioperative or cardiovascular OR experience.

Qualifications

1+ year perioperative experience or on-the-job training in perioperative care.
Cardiovascular OR experience required.
Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and written).
Current and valid Nevada RN License.
BLS (AHA) certification required.
ACLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting for neonates to older adults.
Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
Direct and guide the OR Technician and other personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient patient flow and continuity of care.
