Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Perioperative Assistant in Oklahoma. The role provides basic patient care pre-operatively and supports the perioperative team across the assigned area in a day shift (M-F 0600-1400).

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and prefer some health care experience; current BLS is required throughout employment. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in health care field preferred.

• Evening differential $1.50/hr.
• Night differential $1.75/hr.
• Weekend differential $1.75/hr.

We have 10 brand new, state of the art, operating rooms for general surgery, colorectal, breast and plastic surgery reconstruction, urology, robotics, and neurosurgery cases located in the ACC at Norman Regional Hospital. The Periop Assistant role provides basic patient care.
