Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking a Perioperative Assistant to provide basic patient care in a busy operating room setting, supporting general surgery, colorectal, breast, and other cases. The role involves pre-operative care, assisting in the perioperative area, and post-operative collaboration to maintain a clean environment, with an emphasis on asepsis and daily tasks.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with day shift; benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability,

Qualifications

• High school education or the equivalent required.
• Previous experience in health care field preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Compensation / Benefits

• $13.74-$22.44/hr. depending on previous work experience
• Evening differential $1.50/hr.
• Night differential $1.75/hr.

We have 10 brand new, state of the art, operating rooms for general surgery, colorectal, breast and plastic surgery reconstruction, urology, robotics, and neurosurgery cases located in the ACC at Norman Regional Hospital. The Periop Assistant role provides basic patient care.
