Responsibilities

• Manages OR inventory par levels with the materials supervisor.
• Reports observations and patient concerns to the charge nurse.
• Assists with supplies after cases and deliveries.
• Ensures equipment and materials are ready for the next case 15 minutes prior.
• Answers OR desk calls under supervision and follows messaging procedures.
• Applies proper body mechanics to protect patients during lifts.
• Communicates clearly with medical center staff and families.
