Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs duties to maintain a safe, clean environment and follows infection control guidelines.
• Cleans and reports equipment that is out of order to the charge nurse.
• Manages OR inventory order and par levels with the business/materials supervisor.
• Reports patient observations and other pertinent information to the charge nurse.
• Helps put supplies away after cases and deliveries.
• Pulls all cases for the schedule and ensures equipment is ready 15 minutes prior to case start.
• Answers OR desk phones under supervision of Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse.
• Assists with patient positioning and uses proper body mechanics for safety.
