Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Perinatal Ultrasonographer to perform obstetrical ultrasound procedures at a technical level with limited supervision. This role requires independent judgment and initiative to deliver high-quality imaging for high-risk pregnancies.

Requirements include completion of a DMS program or OB Registry, ARDMS registration within one month of hire, NTQR preferred, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a DMS Program, or currently enrolled and passed OB Registry.
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers within one month of hire.
• Nuchal Transluscency (NT) certification through NTQR preferred.
• Current BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform obstetrical ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
• Work under limited supervision, independently performing ultrasonographic procedures.
• Procedure quality and patient safety are prioritized in all exams.

Position Summary

This position works under limited supervision, independently performing ultrasonographic procedures. Procedures performed require independent judgement, initiative, and ingenuity.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of a DMS Program, or currently enrolled and passed OB Registry
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers within one month of hire Nuchal Transluscency (NT) certification through the NTQR (Nuchal Translucency Quality Review) preferred
• Previous experience as a High Risk OB Ultrasonographer, or Nuchal Transluscency (NT) certification in lieu of experience
• Current BLS Certification

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $50.46 - $83.39 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
