Covenant Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for the Perinatal Center in Morristown, TN. This full-time role is 80 hours per pay period, daytime hours, supporting high-risk obstetric imaging and complex ultrasound procedures.

The position requires proficiency in specialized ultrasound techniques, strict safety practices, and accurate documentation of findings to assist physicians in delivering optimal maternal-fetal care.

Qualifications

• Registered in at least one ultrasound modality (e.g., ARDMS, ARRT) as required by state licensing.
• Clinical training appropriate to the modality and capable of performing routine and specialized ultrasound procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs physician-ordered ultrasound examinations and produces high-quality images.
• Ensures complete orders and relevant information are present for interpretation.
• Assesses patients, documents clinical findings, and prepares preliminary results for physician review.
• Maintains safe ultrasound environment and adheres to infection control and HIPAA guidelines.
• Assists physicians with US procedures and follows Joint Commission medication safety protocols.
