Job summary

Covenant Health's Fort Sanders Perinatal Center in Knoxville seeks an Ultrasound Technologist for the Perinatal Center. This full-time role performs physician-defined ultrasound procedures and maintains a safe, efficient imaging environment.

You will work with high-risk pregnancy cases across locations, document findings, assist physicians, and adhere to HIPAA, ACR, and Joint Commission standards while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Clinical ultrasound training with ARDMS/ARRT licensure or eligibility.
• Experience in diagnostic sonography and high-risk obstetric imaging preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs physician-ordered ultrasound procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
• Maintains safe ultrasound environment and adheres to infection prevention standards.
• Documents clinical information and findings for physician review.
• Reviews images and prepares preliminary findings for interpretation.
• Assists physicians with US procedures and ensures proper consent and documentation.
