Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking a Perinatal Ultrasonographer to perform obstetrical ultrasound procedures with limited supervision and independent judgment. The role supports a 1.0 FTE, day shift, Monday–Friday schedule in Yakima, WA.

Qualifications include completion of a DMS program or OB Registry in progress, ARDMS registration within a month of hire, NT certification preferred, and current BLS certification. Prior high-risk OB ultrasound experience is valued.

• Satisfactory completion of a DMS Program, or currently enrolled and passed OB Registry.
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers within one month of hire; NT certification through NTQR preferred.
• Previous experience as a High Risk OB Ultrasonographer, or NT certification in lieu of experience.
• Current BLS Certification

Position Summary

The Perinatal Ultrasonographer is responsible for performing obstetrical ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This position works under limited supervision, independently performing ultrasonographic procedures. Procedures performed require independent judgement, initiative, and ingenuity.

Requirements:

• Satisfactory completion of a DMS Program, or currently enrolled and passed OB Registry
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers within one month of hire Nuchal Transluscency (NT) certification through the NTQR (Nuchal Translucency Quality Review) preferred
• Previous experience as a High Risk OB Ultrasonographer, or Nuchal Transluscency (NT) certification in lieu of experience
• Current BLS Certification

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $50.32 - $72.41 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
