Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center in Bucks County, PA is seeking a Perinatology Ultrasound Tech to operate ultrasound equipment and film processor to produce diagnostic images for the Perinatologist. The role also assists in genetic procedures.

As an Perinatology Ultrasound Tech, you will produce quality diagnostic images, select and prepare proper equipment, and operate imaging devices safely while following center protocols. The position is full-time with a day shift, located at St. Mary Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Technical school/associate's degree required.
• 2-4 years of experience required.
• RDMS Certificate required.
• Obstetrical (NTQR) Certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately educated and explains procedures to patients. Modifies approach based on age, developmental level and needs of patient.
• Follows appropriate Center protocol for procedures unless specified differently by the Perinatologist.
• Produces quality diagnostic images for interpretation. Selects and prepares proper equipment and supplies.
• Operates medical imaging equipment properly and safely.
• Prepares patient for procedures providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation and minimize anxiety.
