Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
• RDMS OB/GYN (RDMSOB).
• RDMS Fetal Echo (RDMSFE).
• American Heart Association BLS Card.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities and schedules of the Sonography staff to ensure proper staffing for patient volumes.
• Operate all sonography equipment with expertise, overseeing service and maintenance of equipment, software, and IT systems.
• Interact with physicians and staff regarding scan quality, protocols, and competencies.
• Develop or provide presentations and educational activities for the department; maintain imaging database.
• Remain current on perinatal sonography and care issues; submit annual Nuchal Translucency Registry data; attend meetings and educational sessions.
