Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for the Maternal Fetal Diagnostics department at Sherman Hospital in Illinois. This is a part-time position with typical Monday–Friday scheduling.

The role involves performing comprehensive OB/GYN ultrasound studies, including invasive procedures support and documentation for physician review. The candidate should be ARDMS registered in OB, with 2+ years OB/GYN experience, excellent image quality, and strong patient communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of ultrasound.
• Minimum 2 years OB/GYN ultrasound experience.
• ARDMS-Registered in OB and Nuchal Translucency certification; CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OB/GYN ultrasound exams and assist physicians during invasive procedures.
• Provide physiologic assessment of OB/GYN vasculature and fetal well‑being; document results.
• Ensure accurate labeling of images and communicate findings to physicians.
• Maintain equipment with proper start‑up/shut‑down procedures and safe operation.
• Display professionalism in patient care, positioning, and patient education.
